Tea Headquarters

Since my husband has quit drinking Coke, this little section of the counter has become a very busy tea headquarters. I've been drinking PG Tips in the morning with creme and sugar for years and years, then I transition to green or herbal in the afternoon. The husband drinking plain black PG Tips all day, thus the two tea pots. Sometimes the children request "night tea," a Yogi bedtime blend, so there can be three crowding this this square of the counter.

I still use my poor lidless, handleless Brown Betty pot. It's the perfect size for us, and it was a gift, I won't replace it until absolutely necessary. The little white pot was a yard sale score. Last year, I abandoned my stove top Chantal kettle for the lovely electric Breville that has saved much natural gas, heat, and time. I am not a fan of superfluous kitchen counter appliances, but the stove just put out too much heat, especially in the summer, so it was worth the investment.
